Telecom sites run unattended in heat, cold and remote locations where lead-acid fails early and needs frequent replacement truck rolls. LiFePO4 handles the temperature swing, needs no watering and reports health over the network so you dispatch maintenance only when needed. This guide covers 48V rack sizing, BMS telemetry and site deployment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will 48V LiFePO4 work with my existing telecom rectifier?
Yes. Our 48V racks present the same nominal bus as VRLA strings and charge from standard -48V rectifiers. We set the charge profile and provide RS485/SNMP so the site controller sees battery health.
How do you monitor batteries at unmanned sites?
Each rack has a BMS that reports cell voltage, temperature and state-of-charge over RS485 or SNMP. You can poll sites centrally and dispatch a truck only when a rack actually needs service.
What about high-temperature tower sites?
LiFePO4 tolerates -20C to 60C far better than VRLA, which ages fast above 40C. We offer wider-temperature cells and optional self-heating for cold-climate towers.
Do you supply operators and tower companies?
Yes. We supply 48V racks to telecom operators, tower companies and EPC contractors across Africa, the Middle East, LATAM and Asia, with UN38.3/MSDS and palletized container loading.
